Laghetti Vineyards is proud to present the release of their 2006 Clante. Clante is made primarily with grape varietals from Italy. It is a Sangiovese, Merlot, Cabernet Francblend, made in the Italian style of wine making. The vineyard is located in Napa, in the hot and dry climate on the eastern slope of Atlas Peak which allows the most intense fruit to grow. Laghetti Vineyards planted their first grapes in 2001 and have been making Clante since 2004.

Laghetti Vineyards is considered a “boutique” winery in that they produce only 300 cases a year! Each vine gets individual attention and the wine is amazing. A complex crisp berry flavored wine with a hint oF white pepper and velvety tannens so it is smooth to the palate. This wine is easy to drink on it’s own or pair it with anything from Penne Puttanesca to duck breast with a cherry reduction sauce. It’s simply not your classic Chianti. Far bolder, richer and well rounded. It’s our version of a Super Tuscan and we hope you enjoy it!!
